Marvel Teases Marvel Now #1 With Joss Whedon & Stan Lee

Marvel Entertainment is continuing to tease Marvel Now #1. While there is still no official confirmation exactly what Marvel Now #1 is all about, our earlier speculation that the announcement would be tied into SXSW has proven to be correct. Marvel Entertainment released the image attached to this article along with the teaser text, "Begin with the biggest and best super heroes in comics. Marvel does it FIRST!" What's really interesting is that while the previous #1 logo contained the names of various Marvel characters, the new #1 logo contains the names of various creators, including Joss Whedon and Stan Lee. The official announcement about Marvel Now #1 will be made in Austin, Texas at the Marvel: House of Ideas panel at the SXSW Gaming Expo on Sunday, March 10th at 1 PM CT. Presenters at the SXSW panel are listed as Arune Singh, Axel Alonso, Joshua Shimkin, and Peter Phillips.
