Man of Steel

Following on the heels of rumors yesterday that Man of Steel director Zack Snyder might be the one tapped by Warner Bros. to finally attempt a Justice League movie, a new interview with the filmmaker suggests that he handled Man of Steel in such a way that it lets fans know the DC Universe is out there, waiting to be discovered. "I have been making references to the DC Universe, just to let you know that world is out there," the director told Empire Magazine in this week's issue, now on sale. What kind of references? Well, so far all the ones we can verify are pretty Superman-centric. There's LexCorp Tower in the film, and a handful of DC characters including Kenny "Conduit" Braverman. There's also the outside chance of a Batman or Wonder Woman cameo, either of which have been teased a number of times. For a while, we even thought classic Justice League foe Starro might appear in the film, but that has been confirmed as the Man of Steel Universe's equivalent of Black Zero.
