Bryan Singer X-Men setBryan Singer, director of X-Men: Days of Future Past, is working on set with what, for a film director, must be a pretty debilitating injury.

The X-Men and Superman Returns director today announced that he is suffering from an ulcerated vocal chord and is under doctor's orders not to speak, or even whisper, for a week.

"I have an ulcerated vocal chord. Can't speak or whisper for seven days. While directing," Singer tweeted earlier today. "My thumbs are exhausted."
