Disney Cruise's Marvel Day at Sea adventures are getting closer to setting sail and now Disney is revealing more details about the event's special Doctor Strange show.

According to Disney Parks Blog, the interactive show will use special effects and projections to make families feel like they have been transported to Doctor Strange's Sanctum Santorum where children will have the opportunity to serve as apprentices. The apprentices will be taught the fundamentals of the Mystic Arts with Doctor Strange awarding each child a certificate of completion.

The show doesn't end with the certificates, though. Doctor Strange's apprentices will be called upon to use their new skills to fight the forces of the Dark Dimension that suddenly appears.

The Doctor Strange show is only one part of special entertainment as part of Marvel Day at Sea. The event also includes character interactions including Iron Man, Black Panther and Loki. Marvel Day at Sea will premiere on select 7- and 8-night Disney Cruise Line cruises from New York this fall. It will return on select 5-night Western Caribbean cruises departing Miami in early 2018.
