Marvel Studios Can't Fail

With Chris Pratt hosting Saturday Night Live, it was a given that his hit summer movie Guardians of the Galaxy would be mentioned or hinted at in some of the sketches. In a sketch that perfectly expresses what a lot of other studios are probably thinking about Marvel Studios, SNL did a preview of Marvel Studios Coming Attractions.

The Marvel Studios Coming Attractions video kicks off by pointing out that Marvel took a super-obscure comic book and turned it into the biggest movie of the year, which means one thing, “Marvel can’t fail.”

The Coming Attractions video then moves on to Ant-Man coming next summer, which is described as a movie about a guy who talks to ants. After highlighting Ant-Man, the Coming Attractions video points out that Marvel doesn’t even need comic books any more and is going to make a superhero team by pointing at random words in the dictionary.

Some of the upcoming Marvel Studios movies shown include Creatures of the Cosmos, Bus People, Marvel’s Pam, Fancy Ghosts, Some Shopping Carts, Pam 2: The Winter Pam, and Marvel’s Star Wars.
