The app, currently available for iPad, will “allow users to view facing pages as they were intended – as one seamless piece of art – and enjoy full screen reading with easy zooming and page turning designed to get the interface out of your face,” the company said.
At launch, the Thrillbent Comic Reader will be accessible on more than 50 free comics from writers and artists including industry luminaries Mark Waid, Karl Kesel, James Tynion IV, Alex de Campi, Geoffrey Thorne, and Barry Kitson. Users will also have access to Thrillbent exclusives, and a growing library of more than 350 comics, with new ones added every week.
Thrillbent offers a subscription service as well as individual comics for sale via ComiXology and the Thrillbent app.
