Famous Comic Covers recreated in Lego Bricks

LEGO recreations of iconic comic book covers were on display over the weekend at DesignerCon in Los Angeles.

The pieces range from classics like Detective Comics #27 and Adventure Comics #445 to modern issues like The Amazing Spider-Man #700, Akira, and Invincible #63.

DC Comics recently announced that November as Lego Theme Month with variant LEGO covers on popular titles.

DesignerCon is an annual art and design convention that smashes together collectible toys and designer goods with urban, underground and pop art! The event is over 70,000 sq. ft. and features over 300 vendors, art & custom shows, live demonstrations, and much more! The show is designed to be a fun environment for fans, artists, and vendors to meet. The annual event takes place every November at the Pasadena Convention Center.
