It's official. Production for the new TNT pilot, Titans, will soon be underway. Geoff Johns, Chief Creative Officer of DC Entertainment, gave an update on the project on social media today.

The one-hour live-action drama would focus on younger superheroes in the DC Comics universe.

The series would center on Dick Grayson, the former Robin, who emerges from Batman's shadow to become Nightwing and the leader of a fearless band of heroes who include Starfire and Raven.

Akiva Goldsman and Marc Haimes will serve as exec producer and co-exec producer, respectively, with Warner Horizon Television producing.
