Announcing The 2014 ComicBook.com Movie Award Nominees

It's awards season and since comic book related movies usually get a bad rap when it comes to the the major events. We here at ComicBook.com felt that these movies we love so much deserve their own proper ceremony. Welcome to the first annual ComicBook.com Movie Awards. 

2014 was a spectacular year for comic book and super hero films. The genre has certainly emerged and is continuing to grow, gaining new fans every day. Now comes a chance to reflect on some of your favorite movies, moments, and actors from last year, and see how your vote stacks up against the rest.

These nominees were selected by our editorial team but the winners will be chosen by YOU! We've included some familiar categories, but also added some of our own.

On Sunday, February 22, we will announce the winners of the 2014 Comic Movie Awards!
