Zachary Levi Cast As Lead In Heroes Reborn Miniseries

Former Chuck star Zachary Levi has been cast as the lead in NBC's upcoming Heroes Reborn miniseries, according to TV Line. NBC has not revealed any details about Levi's character, but he is said to play a "key" role in the 13-episode series.

"There are a few franchises I've always wanted to be a part of, and Heroes is one of them," Levi says. "Chuck gave me the opportunity to wield some fun powers, but an entire world with superpowers is a world I've always wanted to explore."

Levi has some experience acting in a super powered universe, having playing Fandral in Thor: The Dark World.

Heroes Reborn will continue the story of NBC's original Heroes series. Jack Coleman will reprise his role as Noah Bennett, and is the only confirmed returning cast member. More casting announcements are expected soon.
