The idea of using Superman as a Christ-like narrative figure is not a new one, but a video released online tries to show how his latest film incarnation, Man of Steel, really drives that idea home. So much so that Man of Steel and The Passion of the Christ may basically be the same movie.
The theory and video is posited by YouTube user Couch Tomato, who lists 24 reasons why they're the same. The films actually play side-by-side as he describes them both at once.
