Ryan Reynolds On Deadpool April Fools' Announcement

Extra host Mario Lopez and Ryan Reynolds discuss the video that the two recently shot to announce that the upcoming 20th Century Fox comic book movie Deadpool will be Rated R.

Reynolds says there was so much contention online regarding whether or not the Deadpool movie should aim for a PG-13 or R-rating, that they decided to squelch the heated debate with a fun April Fools' announcement.

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
