Netflix will make all 13-episodes of their new Daredevil series available this Friday, which means it is a perfect time for Screen Junkies to unveil their honest trailer for the 2003 film.

Marvel television executive Jeph Loeb made it clear from the start that the Netflix series would try to avoid making mistakes that 2003's Daredevil made, which was written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson (Ghost Rider). Although, to be fair the director's cut is much better than the theatrical cut. There were a few subplots that were originally left on the cutting room floor for no apparent reason.

You can still knock the film for its uneven tone. The film looks dark and gritty, yet the content is far from it. One major bright spot is that the cast was pretty talented, just not utilized to its fullest. Ben Affleck (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) starred as Matt Murdock; lawyer by day, Daredevil by night. The rest of the cast included Jennifer Garner as Elektra Natchios, Colin Farrell as Bullseye, Michael Clarke Duncan as Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin) and Joe Pantoliano as Ben Urich.

Check out their honest trailer for Daredevil (2003) in the video below.

Daredevil debuts on Netflix, April 10th.
