New Terminator Genisys Trailer Officially Released Online

Paramount Pictures has just released a brand new trailer for Terminator Genisys after fans were asked on Twitter to tweet using the hashtag, #TerminatorUnlock.

Terminator Genisys is the first part of a standalone Terminator trilogy. In it, John Connor, leader of the resistance in the year 2029, continues the war against the machines. When he learns of a plot to send a Terminator back in time to kill his mother, he sends Kyle Reese to protect her, but the Sarah Connor that Kyle finds is different than what he expected.

Terminator Genisys stars franchise icon Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as newcomers Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith, Byung-Hun Lee, and JK Simmons. The film is directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones, Thor: The Dark World).

Terminator Genisys opens July 1, 2015.
