A Frightening Clown Attacks In New Poltergeist Clip

20th Century Fox has released a new terrifying clip from their Sam Raimi-produced Poltergeist remake.

In the 1982 classic, which you can also view below, Robbie Freeling (Oliver Robins) is attacked by his toy clown. The terrifying scene reaches its climax as Robbie is tugged another he's own bed by the malevolent doll. After an intense struggle Robbie finally gets the upper hand and rips the clown to pieces.

Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi ("Spiderman," "Evil Dead", "The Grudge") and director Gil Kenan ("Monster House") contemporize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.

The cast includes Sam Rockwell (Eric Bowen), Rosemarie DeWitt (Amy Bowen), Saxon Sharbino (Kendra Bowen), Kyle Catlett (Griffin Bowen), Jared Harris (Carrigan), Kennedi Clements (Madison Bowen)
