Rumor: Ben Affleck To Direct Next Batman Solo Film For 2018 Release

Argo screenwriter and director are reportedly collaborating once again for the next Batman solo film.

Latino Review claims The Dark Knight himself Ben Affleck (The Town) will direct the next Batman solo film, which they believe is titled, The Batman.

WB is supposedly targeting a November 2018 release date for The Batman. That would put it in competition against Marvel’s female-led superhero movie Captain Marvel.

Chris Terrio, who took over Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice screenwriting duties from David S. Goyer, is said to be penning the script to The Batman. Keep in mind, Terrio is also penning the script for both Justice League films. If true, he’ll be a busy boy.
