Jurassic World's Colin Trevorrow Reportedly Up To Direct Star Wars Episode 9

Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow will direct Star Wars Episode IX, according to a report from Heroic Hollywood. The announcement will be formally made at today's Star Wars panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego.

If true, Trevorrow's career has certainly skyrocketed over the past few years, from directing the indie film Safety Not Guaranteed, to helming the hugely profitably Jurassic Park sequel, and now into a galaxy far, far away.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is being directed by J.J. Abrams. Rian Johnson will take the helm for Star Wars Episode VIII.
