Stephen Amell teased name changes from Starling City to Star City, and from The Arrow to Green Arrow, in the forthcoming season of The CW's Arrow -- and it turns out nobody's wasting any time getting there.

The first episode of the new season begins production today and, per a tweet from showrunner Marc Guggenheim, will be titled "Green Arrow."

The episode was written by Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle from a story by Greg Berlanti and Beth Schwartz. Percy Jackson helmer Thor Freudenthal will direct the premiere.

Fans had wondered when or if Oliver Queen would take on the Green Arrow name in the Arrowverse, and some have even wondered whether the series might change its name to accommodate the lead character's new identity. So far, that seems pretty unlikely but over the years, producers have been reluctant to give an unambiguous no.

Arrow returns to The CW in October and airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
