After Clark defends Lois from a pack of Metropolis hooligans, his suit is left in tatters. Lois, the sharp investigator that she is, naturally identifies the exposed blue underoos underneath for what they are. Next time, Superman, spring for the high-end suits. They’re worth the investment.
“She was always hard-nosed, she was always a competitor to Clark, she always had a sense of who she was, she was always really grounded and understood her mission in life,” Superman writer Gene Luen Yang told USA Today. “She was ahead of our society and that’s why people love her for it.”
