Way back in April, reports surfaced that Jim Parrack was playing Jonny Frost, one of the Joker's goons (not to be confused with Killer Frost, a Firestorm villain, or Joe Chill, who killed Batman's parents). He appeared in the original graphic novel Joker by Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo.

The rumors popped up at one website where such rumors generally pop up, then were refuted by another, similar website before kind of quietly vanishing because a lot of information about Suicide Squad had been made available and Parrack wasn't really part of most of it.

Now, though, an actress who's said to have a role in the film has posted a photo of herself and Parrack on Instagram, referring to him matter-of-factly as playing Jonny Frost.

You can check it out below.

It's not clear what role Corina Calderon will play in the film, either; IMDb has her as "Grace." Of course, IMDb are famously unreliable sources for information that hasn't yet been officially released by the studios (since it's user-edited and anyone can put anything on the site). Even if true, there are two plausible candidates: Grace Choi, who appeared as a member of Batman's Outsiders with Katana (who appears in the film), or Karin Grace, who operated as the Suicide Squad's combat medic in its early days, up until her death.

David Ayer will direct the film, which stars Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jay Hernandez as (we assume) El Diablo, and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Viola Davis will play Amanda Waller. Ed Harris and Jackie Earle Haley are rumored to appear as well.

Suicide Squad is coming next August. Check our comic book movie calendar for all the details on this and other comic book adaptations coming to a theater near you.
