The images were released through Japanese games magazine Famitsu. In an interview with the magazine, Koei Tecmo executives Hisashi Koinuma and Tomoyuki Kitamura revealed that the game’s production is about 50 percent complete, and that a focus has been placed on recreating the maneuver gear battles from Hajime Isayama’s original manga.
The executives also revealed that the game will tell a standalone story that is faithful to the source material.
The Attack on Titan game is being developed by Omega Force, and will release this winter in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita. North American and European releases will follow.
