Rumor: Two Teasers For Batman V Superman Airing the Night of the Supergirl Premiere

According to rumor maestro El Mayimbe at Heroic Hollywood, DC Entertainment is planning to take the Supergirl/Gotham TV rivalry head-on, spinning it into a pair of Superman- and Batman-themed teasers for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice set to air on October 26.

That's the night Supergirl premieres following a new episode of The Big Bang Theory. Gotham airs that same night. The word is that, as you'd expect, a Superman-flavored version will air on CBS during Supergirl and a Batman version on FOX during Gotham.

While the two shows air head to head during most of the season, Supergirl will not premiere in its normal time slot, so fans should be able to watch both and see both ads live.

HH also says that the teasers will lead into a new, full-length theatrical trailer set to debut in November, attached to prints of Warner Bros.' Creed and possibly other blockbusters like SPECTRE and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part Two.
