We still don't know what happens to Ronnie Raymond, but a new trailer for The Flash has confirmed that we'll see a new Firestorm in Season Two.

It appears to be Franz Drameh, who plays a character at least so far known as "Jay Jackson" in DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Up until now, the network has tried to keep a lid on the nature of Jackson's character, but executive producer Phil Klemmer told ComicBook.com at Comic-Con International: San Diego this summer that he was "probably the last person Professor Stein (Victor Garber) wants to share Firestorm with."

You can check it out below.

In the comics, there is an African-American Firestorm, whose name is Jason Rusch. That character has already appeared -- albeit briefly -- on The Flash, and was instrumental to the S.T.A.R. Labs team learning about Professor Stein's F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. Project.

Rusch was an assistant to Stein. Jackson is a former high school athlete, whose pro-career was derailed by injury. Now making ends meets as an auto mechanic, Jay will come to have a surprising affiliation to the S.T.A.R. Labs crew.

Of course, The Flash is dealing with Earth-2 a lot this year, so the fact that there's another Firestorm doesn't necessarily mean anything for Ronnie Raymond, played by Robbie Amell, who married Caitlin Snow in the Season One finale. It could simply be that Jackson (if that is indeed his name and he isn't a recast Rusch) is an Earth-2 version of the hero.

The Flash airs on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT starting on October 6 on The CW.
