The BBC has released new teaser for the return of Sherlock.

The 10-second teaser shows Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) dressed in Victorian attire, suggesting the clip is from the upcoming Sherlock Christmas Special, which is a standalone episode set in the time of Arthur Conan Doyle’s original Sherlock Holmes stories. Check it out below.

As the Facebook page says, you can check back tomorrow to “see a bit more,” suggesting this is just the first in a series of teasers for Sherlock‘s return.
The Sherlock Christmas Special was supposed to air on Christmas Day, but the trailer released at Comic-Con suggested that may not be the case. Series 4 of Sherlock will begin filming in 2016.
