Henry Rollins On His Role in Welcome to Showside

Modern Prometheus Productions has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive interview with musician, actor and general renaissance man Henry Rollins, about his role in the new animated short Welcome to Showside.

In the project from Bravest Warriors creator Ian McGinty, released last week and timed to International Animation Day, Rollins plays a flaming skull Nexus Demon named Frank.

"The character is really over the top and has this weird temper," Rollins said. "I love any opportunity when in a studio setting, I can yell, and not have someone go 'Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what are you doing?"

Last week, timed to International Animation Day, Modern Prometheus production company released their debut animated short WELCOME TO SHOWSIDE from Ian McGinty (BRAVEST WARRIORS). WELCOME TO SHOWSIDE takes readers on the adventures of Kit, a lovable kid with a monstrous secret: his dad is the Great Shadow King and he wants Kit to take over the family business of destroying the world. McGinty also serves as the showrunner and lead voice actor for the all-ages WELCOME TO SHOWSIDE short, which co-stars none other than the iconic Henry Rollins.
