Immediately after the most recent trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was released, fans started to bemoan how much of the movie had apparently been revealed.

Director Zack Snyder, in a new interview with MTV, says not to worry about that.

"I have the benefit of seeing the movie," Snyder said. "It's cool that they think it's too much and I appreciate people not wanting to know, but there's plenty that they don't know. There's a lot of movie that's not in the trailer."

In particular, Snyder suggested there's much more to Jesse Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex Luthor than meets the eye.

"In the trailer, of course he comes across in a very specific way," said Snyder. "In the movie, he's like a million times more sophisticated than what you get in 30 seconds. But that's also the fun of it. That's why you go to the movies, so you can actually see the context and understand the depth."

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25, 2016.
