Arrow returned from its midseason hiatus last night and so did its audience.
The Wednesday night DC Comics TV series pulled in a solid 1.1 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, tallying 2.8 million total viewers, which is a slight improvement from the fall finale's 1.0 rating.
In comparison to The CW's other DC Comics property, The Flash, Arrow is only slightly behind the Speedster. The Flash hauled a 1.3 rating in the key demo, which was a 7% dip from its season 1 midseason return a year ago.
The winner of the night was American Idol, earning a 2.4 rating in the key demo and 9.2 million total viewers in its hour, however, its follow-up program, Second Chance, could only manage to keep a 1.0 rating.
