Deadpool Sequel Reportedly In The Works

It looks like 20th Century Fox is so confident in Deadpool that they've reportedly greenlit a sequel. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Deadpool 2 will see writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick back to pen another adventure for the Merc With A Mouth.

There is no word if director Tim Miller will return but the studio is keen on keeping everyone together, something Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld told us was very important to the whole thing coming together.

Deadpool has been testing insanely well, and reportedly is one of the best films Fox has tested in recent months.

Deadpool is set to open in movie theaters this weekend, and the film is tracking for a $65 million plus four-day holiday opening weekend.
