Krysten Ritter Talks Jessica Jones/Iron Man Team Up & Joining The MCU

Over the weekend, Wizard World hosted a massive comic convention at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. One of their headlining guests was none other than Jessica Jones herself, Krysten Ritter.

After Ritter's Saturday panel, ComicBook.com had the chance to talk to the actress about all things from Portland experiences to how life has changed since joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"It's so rad! I'm so fortunate to get to play this amazing character and have this giant built-in fanbase that comes with Marvel," Ritter says about landing the super hero role in the MCU. "I've never done anything in this genre before so it's been completely life changing. I've never been to comic con before! This is a whole new ball game for me."

She will be making her first San Diego Comic Con appearance this summer.

Ritter has to remain pretty tight lipped about season two of Jessica Jones but that didn't stop us from getting into hypotheticals. There is a particular Avenger she thinks it would be fun to team up with!

"It would be really awesome to team up with Iron Man," Ritter says. It's a sensible choice actually. Captain America wouldn't approve of pretty much any of Jessica's actions. The Hulk would blow her cover. Thor would be too hasty to conform with her plans. Meanwhile, Iron Man has a similar drinking habit and loves to be sarcastic. It's a match made in heaven and Ritter agrees, as she concluded with a joke, "Just lots of booze!"
