Batman V. Superman Tie-In Comic Books Announced By General Mills

A litany of items have been discovered at the bottom of a cereal box. Decoder rings, sticker packs, Pog's (I actually don't know if that ever happened, but it should have) have all been a Cocoa Puff or Lucky Charm away from discovery.

Now you can add comic books to the list, courtesy of DC Comics. In March, General Mill's cereal will contain one of four comic books, all revolving around their highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The four books can be found inside of Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puff's, Trix, and Golden Grahams.

The books themselves feature issue #1: Playground Heroes (Jeff Parker, R.B. Silva & Jose Marzan Jr.), Issue #2 Field Trip (Christos Gage, Federico Dallocchio), Issue #3 Picture Proof (Marguerite Bennett, Marcus To), and Issue #4 Lights Out (Joshua Williamson, Eduardo Pansica, Art Thilbert).

Pretty impressive list of creatives for a small bonus with your breakfast, but I'm not complaining.

The promotion will run until April 2016.
