A group of fans have banded together to petition AMC to reveal how they will resolve their season-ending cliffhanger on The Walking Dead.

"I would like AMC to show us who Negan killed in the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead," reads the petition's description at Change.org. "We want this either in an interim episode that borders Season 6 and 7, or a short R-Rated webisode that shows us the death in all it's bloody glory. Either of these are fine as long as it's released before May 30th."

That demand is unlikely to be heeded by the network; aside from a history of not responding to online petitions, there's the fact that they have reportedly not yet filmed the resolution of the cliffhanger -- which means insisting on a six-week turnaround is pretty much impossible.

Nevertheless -- feel free to add your name if you feel passionately about it. Just don't be too heartbroken if it doesn't happen.

More than 65,000 fans signed a petition to resurrect Beth Greene, who died in the midseason finale in The Walking Dead's fifth season -- and as anybody who watches the show can attest, that didn't have the desired effect.
