Destruction Reigns In New Godzilla Resurgence Trailer

Godzilla's back, and big surprise he's pissed.

The last time we saw Godzilla in the 2014 film, he was our ally, defending us from other threats. In Godzilla Resurgence, the behemoth is back to its destructive roots, taking out everything in its path. The Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi directed film is all about man vs monster, though the team behind the film really went above and beyond in making the creature look dark.

I mean, Godzilla never looked approachable by any means, but here he's dipping into monster from hell territory, with red veins coursing through his body. You can view the trailer above, but you don't have much time to prepare, as the film drops in Japan on July 29th.
