The first poster for Transformers: The Last Knight has been revealed, with a banner poster tweeted out by the Paramount UK account. The poster features stylized art, with a shot of a sword-wielding Transformer, Optimus Prime, facing down three bots that look a heck of a lot like dragons. A flag has been planted in the ground over a city and some kind of space station floats high above. While the focus is on Optimus, there's definitely much more going on in this poster than meets the eye.

As for the dragon-esque characters there, that brings to mind either "Beast Wars" or the Predacons. After the Dinobots were introduced in Transformers: Age of Extinction, it wouldn't be crazy to see them introduce one of the more animalistic lines of 'bots in the next film (gotta sell those toys!). Predaking, the leader of the Predacons, is a giant robot dragon, after all.

Transformers: The Last Knight is straddling a fine line of promotion - while there has been near-constant twitter promotion of the film, they haven't actually said much, if anything, about the plot of it. The movie is the first out of the new "Transformers Writers Room" that Paramount established to try to expand the world of these movies into a true "Cinematic Universe," every studio's current buzz phrase and goal. Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters June 23, 2017.
