American Horror Story Teaser Is An Eyeful

This new teaser for the sixth season of American Horror Story is a feast for the eyes.

Like many, if not all, of the previous teasers, this one features unsettling imagery and offers absolutely no clues about the plot of the upcoming season. In it, we see a woman's mouth, though it could be a guy's for all we know, with an eyeball inside. Before the eye is gobbled up, it looks around nervously in all directions.

Since we have less than a month to go until its premiere, Hopefully FX will release an official cast, synopsis, and subtitle sometime soon; however, they could decide to stay the course with their bold strategy, keeping us all in the dark until the season debut.

American Horror Story is an anthology horror drama series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The Emmy and Golden Globe winning franchise is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.

The sixth season will feature Evan Peters (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Kathy Bates (Misery), Denis O'Hare (True Blood), Angela Bassett (How Stella Got Her Groove Back), Sarah Paulson (The People Vs. O.J. Simpson), Wes Bentley (Ghost Rider), Finn Wittrock (The Big Short), Matt Bomer (The Nice Guys), Cheyenne Jackson (Behind the Candelabra), Leslie Jordan (Will & Grace), and Lady Gaga (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For).

Sixth installment of American Horror Story will debut on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10/9c.
