Jack Reacher: Never Go Back Command TV Spot

"Remember, you wanted this."

Paramount Pictures has released a new television spot for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, which is simply titled "Command."

As you would expect, the action-heavy TV spot features the former Major in the United States Army Military Police Corps hunting down the people responsible for killing soldiers that used to be under his command.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back follows the title character as he returns to Virginia to meet the head of his former unit. But she's missing, he's being charged with a crime committed nearly 20 years ago, and he may even have a daughter. Making things right will lead him on a cross-country chase to uncover the truth - and maybe even a family.

The cast features Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher, Cobie Smulders as Susan Turner, Patrick Heusinger as The Hunter, Austin Hebert as Prudhomme, Robert Catrini as Colonel Moorcroft, and Robert Knepper as General Harkness. It also includes Danika Yarosh, Aldis Hodge, Holt McCallany, and Billy Slaughter.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is being directed by Edward Zwick, who helmed Cruise's The Last Samurai. The script was written by Zwick, Richard Wenk (The Equalizer) and Marshall Herskovitz (The Last Samurai).

Cruise is producing alongside Don Granger, Skydance Media's David Ellison and Dana Goldberg, and Christopher McQuarrie, who wrote and directed the 2012 film. The executive producers are Paula Wagner and Herb Gains.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is set for release on October 21, 2016.
