Gotham City appears to be a major locale for the Justice League movie. Batman, played by Ben Affleck, and Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot, appear to be headquartered in Gotham City while attempting to bring the Justice League together in the first Justice League trailer.
Snyder previously revealed via Twitter the first look at Batman in his tactical Batsuit in Justice League. Prior to that, Affleck surprised fans with a video tweet that revealed the DC Extended Universe version of Deathstroke on the Justice League set. We now know that Deathstroke will be played by Joe Manganiello, and that Deathstroke will be the primary antagonist of the first solo Batman movie in the DC Extended Universe.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroesโBatman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flashโit may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and stars Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher.
Justice League opens in theaters on Nov. 17, 2017.
