WARNING! Major spoilers for Fear The Walking Dead to follow!

When Nick first arrived at La Colonia a few weeks ago, the compound seemed like one of the safest communities in all of The Walking Dead Universe. They had a great position on the hill, smart leadership in Alejandro and Luciana, a wall of walkers at the gate, and a trading partner for water.

Now, after the events of Pillar Of Salt, it seems as though paradise may be coming to an end. Is La Colonia in serious trouble?

Absolutely.

Everything that has made La Colonia great is slowly slipping away.

Their leadership is under fire for the first time since Alejandro arrived. When he and Luciana began to disagree on the appropriate action againt the Narcos, a divide was born between the leaders. Slowly, the two are pulling away from each other, and Nick is trying desperately to hold it together. Once leadership is divided, the people become divided. When the people are divided, the community is at its most vulnerable point.

While the hill once seemed like a great position, the Narcos are going to use it to their advantage. They used the high ground against La Colonia, in order to see everything that goes on inside the walls. Their spotting Nick through binoculars is just the first step in them learning the community's secrets.

Speaking of Narcos, they are getting impatient waiting for their drugs. While Luciana and Alejandro can't decide what they should do, the rival gang is already waiting to strike. The trade complications have also cut-off all water supplies to La Colonia.

The gang is obviously dangerous, and they've proved that. By holding the only water supply in the area, they also hold all of the power. If La Colonia decides to let Narcos inside, they will be in danger. If they refuse, it could be even worse. Whether they decide to attack, or slowly dry them out, Narcos has the upper hand.

With no water, and danger around every corner, people are starting to leave Le Colonia in the masses. They clearly see the end of the once powerful community - can you?
