Major Issues: First Appearance of King Ezekiel

Hundreds of comic book characters are being portrayed in film and television, and with each new day more are being announced.

Major Issues -- a ComicBook.com original video series -- will speak to true comic book hobbyists as well as new fans in a short, fast-paced digital series featuring the first appearances of characters we all love. Each episode will feature the actual comic book, info on the creators, and the backstory on the creation and legacy of the character.

The first is our look at the introduction of Ezekiel.

The description of the leader of The Kingdom from Brandon Davis of ComicBook.com: Ezekiel is in truth, a man who struggles with communication. Though he is an eccentric and somewhat flamboyant, the white haired leader carrying a staff at all times, he is reluctant to connect with any one. Eventually, he opens up to and finds himself in a relationship with Michonne on the black and white pages of the Image comics series.

Origininally published in March of 2013 -- and priced at $3.99 -- the origin story was 20 pages and was simply listed as 108 which wrapped up the series, "What Comes After." It is now available for bid on eBay (in varying conditions) with varying price ranges based on the variant covers.
