The Walking Dead‘s Season 7 premiere was one of the most brutal hours in television history. The shows returning episode pushed the limits of television, acting, and violence as Negan’s introduction played out with the death of two characters and the complete breaking down of Rick.

After the new villain brought his bat down upon the skulls of Abraham and Glenn, he turned his attention to further cracking down on Rick’s leadership. They went for a wild ride in the RV, took down a few zombies, and came back for one more trying ordeal. Negan ordered Rick to cut off his son Carl’s hand. Just as Rick was going through with it, Negan realized he had fully broken the man who was onee in charge of Alexandria.

The sequence was one of the most suspenseful in The Walking Dead‘s history.

Negan actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan is not done with the scene. Over the weekend, fans from around the world flocked to Atlanta for Walker Stalker Con in hopes of getting photos and autographs from their favorite cast and crew members.

Morgan posed for thousands of photos but one is standing out above the rest. The actor recreated the iconic scene between Negan, Rick, and Carl with a couple of young kids. One child is dressed as Rick Grimes and the other, his son Carl – eye patch and all.

Morgan kneels down in the face of little Rick as little Carl lays waiting to lose his arm. It’s a hilarious recreation in which the kids probably have no idea what’s going on.

Check it out in the second photo from Morgan’s tweet below.
