Emma Watson is known for many things, but she was first introduced to the world as Hermione Granger. The actress made her on-screen debut in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone when she was a child, and Watson reprised her role throughout the acclaimed Harry Potter series. When the final film debuted, Watson was a bonafide star who has now starred in multiple movies – but she definitely hasn’t forgotten her roots.
Last week, the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hit theaters, and Watson apparently loved the flick. The actress took to Twitter yesterday to ask fans where they had seen Fantastic Beasts yet and if they loved it as much as she did. Watson ended her tweet with a series of animal emojis, but it is only a matter of time until someone makes a magical beasts keyboard for Potterheads to download.

Shortly after the tweet was sent, Watson got a very special reply. Author JK Rowling responded to the actress’ tweet with a heart emoji, and fans everywhere awed over the adorable interaction.
Clearly, Watson is not the only person who fell for Fantastic Beasts. The film has garnered praise from both fans and critics, and its opening box office was a thing of beauty. The film raked in $75 million and stands to earn even more cash over the holiday weekend.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an all-new adventure returning us to the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling. Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) stars in the central role of wizarding world magizoologist Newt Scamander, under the direction of David Yates, who helmed the last four Harry Potter blockbusters. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incidentโฆwere it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
