The Power Rangers toyline has given fans the best up close looks of designs from the upcoming film, and tend to be quite accurate when the official film stills are released to the public. The latest round of photos seems to have included the first look at the Ranger’s most frequent enemies, the Putties.

The Putties are Rita Repulsa’s default henchmen, commonly seen in big groups. They aren’t the most skilled combatants and aren’t particularly a threat by their lonesome, but they make up for lack of ability with sheer numbers. In the picture of the Pink Ranger’s Pterodactyl, it seems she also includes another figure, which makes sense since her Battle Zord has the ability to hook people and carry them away.

The all grey motif indicates that this is the new version of a Putty, and if you look closely you can see that there are clay-like effects on the legs and arms. The sculpt is a bit bulkier than the old versions, which were quite scrawny in comparison. You can also see hints of a V-Neck costume design, but it’s hard to tell much else from the angle.

You can view more shots of the toys in the gallery.

“Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.”

Power Rangers stars Bryan Cranston (Zordon), Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa), Naomi Scott (Kimberly/Pink Ranger), David Denman (Sam Scott), Becky G. (Trini/Yellow Ranger), Sarah Grey (Amanda), RJ Cyler (Billy Cranston/Blue Ranger), Emily Maddison (Rebecca), Ludi Lin (Zack Taylor/Black Ranger), and Dacre Montgomery (Jason Lee Scott/Red Ranger).

Power Rangers is set to land in theaters on March 24, 2017.
