Suicide Squad made a nice haul at the box office by the end of its run, and while the extended edition wasn’t the fix-all some had hoped for, it seems that people’s opinions of the film are improving with time.

To further that line of thinking, the latest video from CinemaWins puts the David Ayer-directed Suicide Squad in the spotlight and goes through pointing out some of the best parts of the much-debated film.

The best apart about the video is that it takes some of the most criticized pieces of the film, like the plot structure, the unraveling of Harley and Joker’s past history, and Enchantress. CinemaSins makes great cases for all three and manages to find the positive in all of them.

Granted, some of the other highlights are well-known things, like the fantastic soundtrack, Margot Robbie’s spot on interpretation of Harley Quinn, and pretty much everything involving Deadshot. Still, even if you have a negative viewpoint on the film as a whole, their take might get you to take a second look.

Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Written and directed by David Ayer, the film starred Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, and Viola Davis. The cast also included Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne, Adam Beach, and Karen Fukuhara in her feature film debut.
