With the issue set to hit the stands tomorrow, Archie Comics has released an official preview from tomorrow's Riverdale one-shot, a prelude to the ongoing series based on The CW's critically-acclaimed Archie adaptation.
In the one-shot, audiences will learn more about what drove Archie and Jughead apart in the summer leading up to the series premiere, about Archie's relationship with his teacher, Miss Grundy -- if that is your real name -- and even get to meet Hiram Lodge, a character who hasn't yet appeared on the TV series.
Riverdale will launch as a new, ongoing series in April, with its second issue recently solicited and featuring an homage to the John Hughes classic The Breakfast Club. The monthly series will feature the art of outgoing Archie penciller Joe Eisma.
