The logo for the Bumblebee spin-off movie will have you buzzing!

Our friends over at TFW2005 have spotted a trademark application that Hasbro, the multinational toy and board game company, submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on Tuesday for the Bumblebee spin-off movie logo.
Yesterday, USPTO accepted the application, which features a stylized design of a bee. You can check out the black-and-white version of the logo in the image directly below.
As for the film itself, which is tentatively titled: The Bumblebee Movie, it is being helmed by Oscar-nominated director Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings), based on a script by British screenwriter Christina Hodson. Though not much is known about it, The Bumblebee Movie is a prequel and won’t include a large number of Transformers.
Bumblebee is the lovable Autobot that lost the ability to speak when his voice box got damaged during a battle. He communicates by using popular audio clips via his radio. When he transforms into a car he takes the form of a yellow Chevrolet Camaro. In the first three films he developed a close bond to Sam Witwicky. In the last film, he continued to be a human protector, making sure to keep the Yeager family out of harm’s way.

The cast of Transformers: The Last Knight features Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager, Isabela Moner as Izabella, Josh Duhamel as Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox, John Turturro as Seymour Simmons, and Tyrese Gibson as Robert Epps, as well as Jerrod Carmichael, Anthony Hopkins. The voice cast includes Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and John Goodman (10 Cloverfield Lane) as Hound.
Michael Bay, who has directed the previous four installments in the Transformers live-action film franchise, returns to direct the fifth installment. Transformers: The Last Knight was written by a trio of screenwriters: Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Ken Nolan.
Transformers: The Last Knight is set for release June 23, 2017.
