Rick Grimes could use a hand here.
The leader of Alexandria can’t seem to catch a break in this post-apocalyptic world. Just when he had finally defeated every enemy and established a civilization, the Whisperers come along and kill a bunch of his friends, prompting another war which has since destroyed the community he worked so hard to build. Now, his girlfriend has been bitten and killed and he accidentally killed the leader of the enemy faction waiting at his door.

In the new preview for The Walking Dead #168, Rick Grimes is backed against a wall. He has to address the fact that Sherry, the leader of the once again hostile Saviors, is dead after a fight with him which no one witnessed.
The preview, released by artist Charlie Adlard, can be seen in the tweet below.

The Walking Dead #168 hits shelves on Wednesday, giving fans the opportunity to see how Rick will meet the Saviors hostility when he reveals Sherry died during their meeting. Covers for future issues imply that the conversation won’t go very well for the leader of Alexandria, as the group heads out on the road without him possibly indicating his death and certainly implying Alexandria has been abandoned.
Given Negan‘s recent turn to becoming an ally of Alexandria’s leader, he might have to step up to the plate and prove himself in this opportunity. The fearless former leader of the Saviors will likely spew some colorful language into the scene but ultimately knock some sense into the groups which are being unnecessarily hostile towards one another.
