Resistance is futile. This new Star Trek RPG is a must have for fans, especially since a limited edition of the game comes packed in a Borg Cube ship.
The Star Trek Adventures RPG Limited Edition Borg Cube Boxed set will be available to pre-order on June 8 from British publisher Modiphius Entertainment. As the name implies, the boxed set comes in a container with an exterior that resembles the cube ships of the classic Star Trek villains the Borg. Check out images in the gallery below.

The boxed set comes with everything a new play group needs to get started with Star Trek Adventures, including a 1701-D Collectible Edition Core Rulebook.
Star Trek Adventures RPG Limited Edition Borg Cube Boxed Set also comes with four sets of miniatures: the Star Trek: The Original Series crew, the Star Trek: The Next Generation crew, a set of Klingons and a set of Romulans. These can be placed in the included foam tray, which fits neatly inside the Borg Cube box.
Lastly, the Star Trek Adventures RPG Limited Edition Borg Cube Boxed Set also comes with all of the dice and tokens needed to play the game, including custom dice color-coded to Federation command structure (Command Red, Sciences Blue, and Operations Gold), a limited edition Borg Cube boxed set exclusive gamemaster’s screen, Starfleet Geomorphic Deck Tiles for creating map layouts, Momentum and Threat game tokens, and a pad of character sheets.
Modiphius Entertainment is the publisher of such games as the Achtung! Cthulhu, Mutant Chronicles, Conan, Infinity and John Carter of Mars roleplaying games. The publisher announced Star Trek Adventures, the first official Star Trek RPG in over a decade, in 2016 to commemorate Star Trek‘s 50th anniversary.
“Since I was a kid I dreamed of sitting in the captain’s chair and boldly going on my own voyages,” says Modiphius Entertainment’s publishing director Chris Birch in a statement when the game was announced. “With Star Trek Adventures we can all explore our own stories in the worlds of Captain Kirk, Picard, Sisko, Janeway, Archer and many others.”
Star Trek Adventures uses the Modiphius 2d20 game system (Mutant Chronicles, Infinity, Conan, John Carter of Mars) designed by Jay Little (Star Wars: Edge of the Empire, X-Wing Miniatures Game).
Along with RPG, Modiphius also announced the accompanying Star Trek miniature figure line, the first to be produced in 17 years. The line will consist of resin and metal 32mm-scale hobby figures resembling Star Trek characters and crews. In addition, Geomorphic tile maps of various signature sets from Star Trek films and television will help set the stage for each game’s adventures.
