Marvel Studios has a busy year ahead of it, and the company’s schedule is only expected to get more hectic next year. Right now, films like Black Panther are into post-production while Avengers: Infinity War continues filming. Other features like Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok still have premieres slated in the coming months. Just last month, the MCU welcome a brand-new installment thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. And, now, a new report has suggested Marvel Studios will begin work on three new features ASAP.

Over on Omega Underground, the site has uncovered production schedule details for Avengers 4, Captain Marvel, and Ant-Man and the Wasp. The information, which is detailed in the slides below, says Marvel Studios will tackle all three features between July 2017 and May 2018.
Currently, all of the MCU titles are expected to film in Atlanta as the city’s Pinewood Studios has become Marvel Studios’ go-to soundstage. Most of the franchise’s feature has filmed in Georgia before heading off to foreign shoots.

Avengers 4
Avengers 4 will stand as the second-part of Avengers: Infinity War, and filming on the project will begin shortly. Shooting on the feature is expected to start next month on July 17th in Atlanta. The film, which has the working title ‘Mary Lou 2,’ is expected to enter production after Avengers: Infinity War wraps its principal photography. Avengers 4 is expected to wrap filming by December 13th.

The expansive confirmed cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos. Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel are filming back-to-back for a May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 release, respectively.

Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel will have a later production start date than its two counterparts. Marvel Studios has said it didn’t expect to begin work on the female-led film until February 2018, but the immense success of Wonder Woman may have changed the company’s mind. Captain Marvel, which will operate under the working title Warbird, will begin filming on January 8th in Atlanta. The film will then complete shooting on May 11th.
Larson will debut as Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) in Avengers: Infinity War, but will then headline her own solo film in 2019. Marvel recently brought on directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, responsible for Half Nelson and Mississippi Grind. Now that directors are in place and the lead star is already hitting the ground running, more casting news should soon follow. Captain Marvel currently has a 3.79 out of 5 on ComicBook.com’s anticipation rankings.
Next up for Marvel is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on May 5, 2017. Spider-Man: Homecoming lands on July 7, 2017, followed by Thor: Ragnarok on November 3, 2017. After that Black Panther debuts on February 16, 2018, while Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018. Ant-Man and the Wasp is slated for July 6, 2018, followed by Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019.

Ant-Man and the Wasp
Ant-Man and the Wasp (AKA Cherry Blue) has gradually been gaining steam behind-the-scenes. Actress Lily Evangeline teased fans about her recent costume fittings on social media, and the star will get to don her Wasp suit for the cameras soon. According to reports, the Ant-Man sequel is expected to begin filming on July 6th in Atlanta. The film will wrap production on November 30th. There is no word on whether the film’s production overlap with Avengers 4 means the latter film will have bigger roles for Ant-Man and the Wasp. The pair may be needed to explore the Quantum Realm if things with Thanos get way out of hand, but for now, fans will simply have to speculate about the pair’s involvement with the Avengers film.
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Doctor Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
Ant-Man earned $180.2M domestically and $339.1M internationally for a total of $519.3M when it debuted. The film was directed by Peyton Reed while story credit goes to Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish. The screenplay was penned by Adam McKay and Paul Rudd.
