With the release date rapidly approaching, Marvel has released a number of motion posters for the series — with a tagline that seemingly takes a little bit of a shot at DC’s upcoming Justice League movie.
(We assume, anyway — we can’t think of another team with an “us” in the middle…!)
You can check out the individual hero posters below.
Defenders has been hyped ever since that original Marvel and Netflix deal was announced — it’s pretty insane that it’s so close to becoming a reality. It’s only a matter of time before we get to see the newest supergroup go toe-to-toe with a bunch of ninjas. We’re pretty excited to see how Elodie Young’s Elektra and Sigourney Weaver’s new character come into play.
Marvel’s Defenders premieres August 18.
