The integral character from the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming will not be a part of the big Marvel Studios ensemble flick which is described as the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the rest of his buddies from Homecoming might be appearing, none of the Parker family will join the cosmic adventure.
“I didn’t get my invitation yet,” Tomei said about Avengers: Infinity War. There is still time for an appearance to be shot at the last minute, given Infinity War will be wrapping production in the next couple of weeks. If not, though, Tomei might get an invitation to Avengers 4 which will directly follow up the events of Avengers 3, likely bringing Spider-Man back into the mix to finally settle the score once and for all with Thanos.

“It all happened pretty fast,” Tomei said. “I was actually out of the country when it all happened. I had to be brought up to speed for a minute. So many wonderful people were involved that I couldn’t say no.”
