Deadpool 2 is loaded with X-Characters like Cable, Domino, and Colossus, but could fans possibly see a fan favorite moment from the comics on the big screen as well?

That’s what Colossus actor Stefan Kapicic hopes to see in the anticipated sequel. Kapicic stopped by ComicBook.com’s suite at Comic-Con, where Brandon Davis noticed Kapicic was wearing a shirt with Colossus and Wolverine performing the patented Fastball Special.
When asked if he would like to swap Wolverine for Deadpool in the upcoming film, Kapicic said “I would love that. Well of course Hugh Jackman is a really tall guy. I hope maybe now they will get a smaller Wolverine, which Wolverine is kind of a small character. But Deadpool in this fastball special moment would be perfect. Fans would be crazy and I would get crazy and freak out.”
As for Colossus and Deadpool, Kapicic doesn’t see Colossus becoming more like the fan-favorite merc anytime soon though.
“Ya know Colossus is an old school superhero, one of the rare ones, the real old school ones. Some sort of Russian gentle soul trying to, not cursing ever or doing bad things. Colossus will always be a superhero that’s trying to change bad, half bad, or anti heroes to heroes, so that’s one of his main goals.”

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool/Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Zazie Beetz (Domino), Josh Brolin (Cable/Nathan Summers), Karan Soni (Dopinder), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Leslie Uggams (Blind AL), Julian Dennison, and Stefan Kapiฤiฤ (Colossus).
Deadpool’s Holiday Blu-ray package is now available and retails for $25.99. Logan is also on Blu-ray and DVD, while Gambit still has a release date of December 31 of 2017, though that is likely going to change. New Mutants has been announced for April 3, 2018, while Deadpool 2 will follow on June 1, 2018. X-Men: Dark Phoenix will hit theaters on November 2, 2018.
